Screwcap
Region: WO Western Cape, Breedekloof Valley.
Grapes: 70% Shiraz, 30% Merlot
Vineyard: The vineyards enjoy different microclimates and surfaces on which the planted grape varieties are adapted. Despite the heat of the sun, the light ocean breeze keeps the grapes cool and allows the wines to be produced with optimum ripeness, yet with a pleasant drinkability. The cuvées of the Paarl region are refreshed by blending them with a number of plots from the Breedekloof valley.
Vinification: Grapes pass directly into the press. Temperature controlled fermentation followed by chilled settling to naturally clarify the wine.
Tasting notes: Delicate aromas of black cherries, white and black pepper, with notes of vanilla and licorice. A soft touch conceals a rich and full wine with a fine texture and a soft aftertaste.
Food pairing: Wonderful with grilled ribs, lamb shoulder or pork cheek stew.
Packaging: Europallets 100 X 6 X 75cl
